What can a website do for me?
The answer to this question is neither short nor easy. With a little research and thought you can find hundreds of reasons, but there are a few general statements that may help you realize your needs. First a website can reach millions of people that might not otherwise be available. Second, customers can view products, services, or whatever you want to share from the comfort of their own home. No matter what type of business you are in, their are ways to grow and make money on the web for you.

No, many people overlook the various products, services, or business processes that they can include on a website. Any communication or interactions that happen within your business can be made easier and more effecient by the web. Your business will save money and time while appealing to to a much greater audience, the world.
Why does it matter how it looks as long as it works?
When you recieve a visitor to your site, they will instantly percieve the quality of your services or products. The first impression that a customer or potential customer has will come from the appearence of your website. A visitor will be interested and explore your site if it is appealing and easy to navigate. You are marketing yourself and your business to the world over the Internet and it is important to show your best.
So, I want to establish a strong presence on the Web. But where do I start?
The four easy steps that we provide below will guide you in the direction to a professionally designed, developed and marketed Web site.
Step Three: Hosting Your Web Site on a Web Server -- This is basically where you rent space on a computer that is always connected to the Internet. Price will vary, depending on the amount of disk space you will have and the connection to the Internet.
Step Four: Marketing Your Web Site -- You should be thinking about the marketing of your Web site as it is being designed. The content of the site needs to reflex the search terms you will want your site to appear on search engines.

¿Cuanto cuesta diseñar un sitio de red?
EL precio del diseño del sitio depende de varios factores:
- El numero de paginas en el sitio.
- Los tipos y el numero de imagenes graficas en el sitio.
- Programacion.
- Derechos de la Red.
- Promocion / Mercadeo En linea.
Una pagina de red sin un alto grado de programacion o sin optimizacion en los motores de busqueda, generalmente cuesta entre $250 y $500 por pagina.
Cambios adicionales quizas requieran el uso de la optimizacion en los motores de busqueda, compactar archivos, y/u otros servicios.

¿Se cobra por hora o es un precio fijo?
Preferimos trabajar bajo un precio fijo, pero podriamos trabajar de ambas maneras. La razon por esto o aquello es que si cobramos por tiempo, tendemos a entusiasmarnos y pasamos mucho mas tiempo del que originalmente habiamos planeado por que siempre apuntamos por las mejoras. Esto, a la larga, podria ocasionar mayores costos para nuestros clientes.
Si cobramos un precio fijo, regularmente pasamos mas tiempo en obtener los resultados deseados, pero a nuestro cliente no le cuesta mas de lo que fue inicialmente cotizado.

¿Que tipo de sitios de red se pueden diseñar?
Hemos diseñado todo tipo de sitios, que van desde un simple sitio de red parecido a un follero a sitios de e-commerce. Cochimetl Design es regularmente consultado por otras compañias de diseño y mercadeo para servicios especializados particulares.

How long does it take to have a website designed?
The time frame is determined by the size of your website. The website design process can take as little as one day (for a simple website presence) and up to 2 weeks. Much of it all depends on how quickly you can review/ approve our design and provide us with the necessary materials and text

What should go on my website?
You should place information that you would normally give over the phone or in person to new customers or members. A web site is an advertisement that is in full color and available to appear on a customers computer at their convenience for them to learn more about your product or service.

What about graphics and pictures? Do I need to pay for those?
Absolutely not, we provide all the graphics and stock photography, as well as specific images and graphics you would like included and supply (ie: existing logos, etc.)

Can you use my business's existing logo, brochure design, and other materials for my website?
Certainly. If your logo and promotional materials are not in electronic format, we can convert them to a format appropriate for your website. We can accept almost any type of file. If your materials are printed, we can scan and convert them to cd-rom.
Cochimetl Design's designers will help you establish your online image to be consistent with your existing image that your customers already know & remember.
How much input do I have?
We welcome your input! The more input we receive from you the better able we will be to satisfy your needs and produce a site that will have the desired look and impact that you want.

How can I view my web site design as it is in progress?
We can put your web site design templates in a directory on our web server so you can view the final product before it goes live. Or we can put the web site on your server. Whichever you prefer.

Yes, if you would like domain name registration as a part of your design contract, we will be happy to do that for you.

Optimización en los motores de busqueda(SEO) es diseñar, escribir y codificar (en HTML) todo su sitio de red de manera que se incrementen las posibilidades de sus paginas de red aparezcan a la cabeza de las solicitudes de busqueda en los motores, esto debido a las palabras clave seleccionadas y a sus frases clave.

Existen 3 componentes esenciales en una campaña en los motores de busqueda:
- Componente de texto. Un sitio de red debe contener las palabras que el publico al que quiere alcanzar, ingresa en los motores de busqueda en sus solicitudes.
- Componentes de Vinculo. Colocar palabras clave en un pagina de red es inutil si los motores de busqueda no tienen los medios para ingresar a ese texto. Por lo tanto el diseño de su sitio debe ser amigable a los robots llamados spider.
- Componente de popularidad. La mayoria de los motores de busqueda miden la popularidad. Por lo tanto, antes antes de iniciar la campaña en los motores de busqueda, regularmente contamos con un directorio correspondiente para la sumision y una campaña para el desarrollo de vinculos para ayudarle con la popularidad y someter a los mayores motores de busqueda de manera que no aparezcan como correo o busqueda no deseada.
A successful, long-term SEO campaign is not possible unless all 3 of these components are addressed.

¿Cual es la diferencia entre optimización en los motores de busqueda y posicionamiento en los motores de busqueda?
Posicionamiento en los motores de busqueda (SEP), Es una palabra llamativa que supuestamente significa lo mismo que optimización en los motores de busqueda. El enfasis es en el posicionamiento mas que en la optimización.
NO caiga en este truco de mercadeo. Nadie puede garantizar un posicionamiento en los motores de busqueda por que finalmente los motores de busqueda son los que deciden que sitios califican y como se posicionan, no las firmas de mercadeo.

¿Por que no se ofrece ninguna garantia?
Nosotros no ofrecemos ningun tipo de garantia, a menos que Usted este participando en algun plan de pago por el posicionamiento en los motores de busqueda tales como Overture.
Apesar de lo que las compañias de mercadeo ofrezcan, nadie puede garantizar un lugar de punta en los motores de busqueda por que existe un tercero que tiene todo el control: los motores de busqueda. Do you create doorway pages?
Since all of the search engines consider doorway pages to be spam, Cochimetl Design does NOT create doorway pages. We create Information Pages, which are designed and written primarily to benefit your target audience who find your site via the search engines and directories.

What is the difference between a doorway page and an informational page?
Doorway pages are web pages created specifically for search engine positions. They are not created to benefit end users.
Information Pages, on the other hand, are specifically created to benefit your end users because they provide information that your target audience is interested in. Because Information Pages are a part of your web site, they can help your site gain more popularity in the search engines AND the directories.
Many people do not understand how doorway page companies work. They create thousands of pages for a single keyword or keyword phrase. All of these pages are fed to the search engines, polluting their indices with unnecessary information. They are not pretty, and they often contain so much gibberish they must be cloaked. End users would not continue visiting a web site if they viewed these pages.

How much does a search engine marketing campaign cost?
The cost of a search engine marketing campaign depends on the size and type of web site you have, the number of keywords your site uses, and popularity. If your web site already has a search-engine friendly design, the costs are far less.
